The year 2020 was named the Year of the Nurse, and what a year for our communities to truly learn what you as nurses bring to the table and the key role you play in keeping Oklahoman’s healthy. Nurses have been voted one of the most trusted professions for 18 years in a row, which provides you with power! Legislators understand that nurses have kept us safe, educated and kept going when no one else would. It is time to harness that power. At the 2021, Nurses Day at the Capitol, Oklahoma nurses and nursing students will come together to discuss, share and learn about where we’ve been and what the future holds. Nurses Day at the Capitol will empower and educate nurses on the power of the nursing voice. Nurses in all stages of their careers should attend. Please join us for this special virtual event, Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
