The Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program is accepting applications NOW through May 11, 2020. This year, they are incorporating a new team-based training approach, and up to 35 interprofessional health care teams will be selected to participate for the 2020-2021 program year.

The program is committed to offering APNs (specifically certified nurse midwives, clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners) and their health care team members a life-changing opportunity to become change agents for innovative models of care.  They invite APNs and their team members, committed to collaborating together on a health improvement initiative, to participate in this program. The 10-month program includes onsite leadership retreats, distance-based learning sessions, and opportunities to receive individualized executive coaching, engage in leadership salon discussions, and gain team mentoring to develop and implement a transformational health improvement project.  The program offers innovative and integrated training in the areas of leadership, management, organizational development, business acumen, community engagement and population health.  It is structured to provide health care teams a program rich in content and opportunities for professional and personal development.  The cost to program participants is very nominal due to the generous support of Johnson & Johnson.
